AllZonefiles.io is operated by SoftDev LLC, a Washington state company (UBI 605 367 903), based in Seattle, Washington, United States. "We," "us," and "our" refer to SoftDev LLC, which is responsible for the personal information we collect to operate this service.
This policy covers website visitors, account holders, and people who contact us. Our Terms of Service explain the conditions for using the website and datasets.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: Email address, name where provided, account creation date, sign-in method, and account status. Password-based accounts use a stored password hash and salt rather than a plain-text password. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your name and email address from Google.
- Billing information: Plan, payment-provider customer and subscription identifiers, payment and subscription status, billing periods, and transaction history. Stripe or PayPal processes your payment details. We do not store your full payment-card number.
- Service activity: Sign-ins, downloads, usage against plan limits, timestamps, IP addresses, and browser or user-agent information. We also obtain IP-derived country and network information.
- Website interactions: Pages viewed, navigation, clicks, device and browser information, and interactions collected by analytics tools. Microsoft Clarity can record website interactions for session replay and heatmaps.
- Messages: Information you provide in support or sales inquiries, including contact details, company information, requirements, and message content. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.
An email address and authentication information are needed to maintain an account. Payment information is needed for a paid subscription. Without the required information, we cannot provide those features.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts, provide downloads, process billing, enforce plan limits and licensing, respond to inquiries, send service and billing messages, understand website usage, troubleshoot problems, and detect abuse. Records also support accounting, legal obligations, and resolving disputes.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, account and subscription processing supports our contract with you; required accounting and disclosures support legal obligations; and security, support, and service improvement support our legitimate interests, subject to your rights. Where consent is required for optional tracking or communications, it must be obtained separately. Visiting this page or accepting our Terms is not consent to optional tracking.
3. Providers and other recipients
Providers supporting the service include:
- Stripe and PayPal: Payments, subscriptions, and billing.
- Google: Optional Google sign-in, Google Analytics, and Google Forms embedded in contact and sales pages. Loading a form connects your browser to Google; submitting it sends your responses to Google for delivery to us.
- Microsoft Clarity: Website analytics, heatmaps, and session replay.
- MailerSend and email providers: Delivery of account, service, and other communications.
- IPinfo: IP-address lookup for country and network information.
- Hosting, infrastructure, and content-delivery providers: Operating the website, storing records, and serving assets. Requests to external asset providers can disclose your IP address and browser information.
Providers may also process information for their own purposes under their policies, particularly when you use a payment account or Google account. Their roles depend on the service and applicable agreements. We may disclose information when legally required or where necessary to protect users, the service, or our legal rights. We do not offer your account information for sale.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use an authentication cookie to keep you signed in. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use cookies or similar technologies to measure usage and interactions. These tools are included on our public website.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking authentication cookies may prevent sign-in. Cookie settings do not necessarily stop all analytics requests or delete information already collected. Google provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
See also Google's Privacy Policy, Microsoft's Privacy Statement, Stripe's Privacy Policy, and PayPal's Privacy Statement.
5. Retention
Our retention periods for the following records are:
- Inactive accounts: Five years after the last account activity, or after the paid subscription ends if that is later.
- Service logs: Five years from the date of each log entry, including account activity and download logs.
- Support messages: Five years after the last exchange in the support conversation.
At the end of these periods, our policy is to delete or anonymize the records, unless continued retention is required by law or necessary for an ongoing legal claim. Billing and transaction records are retained according to applicable accounting and legal requirements. Third-party analytics and provider-managed records may have separate retention periods.
Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or records. You may request earlier deletion through our contact page; the five-year periods do not override applicable deletion rights. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or resolving billing disputes. Contact us for information about records relevant to your request.
6. International processing
We operate from the United States and use providers that may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Contact us for information about destinations and any transfer safeguards applicable to your information.
7. Security
We use measures such as password hashing and secure authentication cookies to protect accounts. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Use a unique password and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct it, request deletion, restrict processing, or receive portable data. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your location.
Right to object: Where applicable, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to use of your information for direct marketing.
Submit requests through our contact page, identifying your account email and request. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing account information. Rights can be subject to legal exceptions. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason as required by applicable law.
You can ask us to stop promotional email. Essential billing, security, and service messages may still be needed for an active account.
9. Domain datasets
Our datasets concern domain names and changes observed in available domain data. A domain name may contain a person's name or other identifying text. Public availability does not remove applicable privacy rights or customers' obligations. If you have a privacy concern about a dataset, contact us with the domain and details. Customers are responsible for their own lawful processing of downloaded data.
10. Children
This service is intended for professional and business use, rather than use by children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and address the situation.
11. Updates and contact
We will post revisions here and update the date above. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a change in processing, a website update alone does not replace that requirement.
