Choose a license for the organization and the use
Basic ($39/month) and Pro ($79/month) are for individuals and organizations with fewer than 5 full-time employees using data internally. Organizations with 5 or more full-time employees should contact sales for business licensing.
Customer-facing data products and redistribution require a separate agreement regardless of company size. Describe the proposed use so the quote can identify the datasets and rights required.
Client work and embedded use
Explain whether you are buying on behalf of a client, delivering reports, exposing individual records, or embedding data in an application. Ask sales to confirm the applicable scope.
Redistribution and resale
Sharing downloadable datasets, providing data through an API, or reselling data requires separately agreed rights. A standard subscription does not grant these rights.
What to include in a licensing request
- The organization that will use the data, its total full-time employee count, and any client or affiliate involved.
- Required datasets, TLD coverage, historical depth, and estimated download volume.
- Who will access the data, including external customers or contractors.
- Whether outputs contain raw records, extracts, aggregated statistics, or downloadable files.
- Retention needs, contract requirements, and your desired start date.
Business pricing and permitted use are established in the agreed quote and contract. Discuss support, delivery commitments, or other requirements with sales; availability must be confirmed.

Does the five-employee threshold count only data users?
No. It refers to the organization’s total full-time employees, not the number of people logging in or working with the dataset.
What about founders, contractors, affiliates, or client purchases?
Include full-time employed founders in the employee count. Describe contractors, affiliates, and client use separately in your request so sales can confirm the applicable licensing scope.
What if our company grows to five employees?
Contact sales to arrange business licensing as your organization reaches the threshold. If you have an existing subscription or agreement, include its details so the transition can be confirmed.
Can a small company redistribute data on Pro?
Redistribution requires a separate agreement regardless of headcount. Pro’s historical access does not itself provide redistribution rights.
